Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality & Domicile: Must be an Indian citizen and a permanent resident of Assam. A valid Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) issued for educational purposes in Assam is required.
- Educational Qualification: Must have passed full-time HSSLC (Class 12) in Science stream with Biology as one of the subjects from a recognized Board/Council/University.
- Age Limit (as on 01/01/2026): Minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years.
- OBC/MOBC: Upper age relaxable by 3 years (up to 43 years).
- SC/ST: Upper age relaxable by 5 years (up to 45 years).
- PwBD: Upper age relaxable by 10 years (up to 50 years).
- Ex-Servicemen: Upper age relaxable by 2 years.
Important Requirement: Mandatory 1-Year Training
Selected candidates must mandatorily undergo and successfully pass a 1 (one) Year Training course in Elementary Knowledge of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science at the School of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, Assam, Ghungoor, Silchar (and extended campuses) before regular appointment.
